2006 Goat Related News

We decided to sit out the fall show season. We had too much work to do and too little energy.

Late June/early July 2006: Our first home bred MCH Twin Creeks BH Baywatch ++*S kids began arriving. So far, all doe kids are sold, but some buck kids are available.

June 2006: We attended the AGS National Show with the smallest show string we have ever taken to a show. It was too hot and we were too tired to take any more. We won Reserve Champion Junior Doe with CHW DH Pink Cadillac and her brother, CHW DH Dragon's Lair, won his class.

May 2006: We attended the annual Heartland Nigerian Dwarf Goat Show in Norman, OK. For the most part we were delivering sold goats, six bucks. But we did show CHW DH Born To Be Wild and get a RsCH Senior Buck win with him. We also showed PGCH CHW DH Lord Of The Rings one more time, even though he should have been finished then. We hadn't received his Permanent Grand Champion certificate yet, and we wanted to be sure he was finished. He won GCH Senior Buck. That made five official grand champion legs with NDGA for him. In the grand champion line up for senior buck under Deena Sansone, we had three bucks bred by us in 1st place, Lord Of The Rings, Born To Be Wild, and Tex's Cowboy Man. We had one in 2nd place, Red Dragon. We didn't show Ringer again in the second show under Suzanne McIntire but we had Born To Be Wild and Pride Of Texas Speedy Gonzalez in the grand champion line up. Ringer left for his new home, Color My World Ranch in Henrietta, TX.

April 2006: We attended the annual Just Peachy Keen Goat Show in Conyers, GA. CHW DH Lord Of The Rings won his 4th official leg with NDGA qualifying him to be a Permanent Grand Champion. This makes Ringer our first homegrown finished champion. He also won RsCH Buck once. CHW DH Born To Be Wild won a GCH buck leg. CHW DH Once In A Blue Moon won GCH Dry Doe twice. CHW LOTR Goldberry won RsCH Junior Doe, but received the leg.

January 2006: We purchased MCH Twin Creeks BH Baywatch ++*S from the Kowaliks and they delivered him to the Fort Worth Stock Show for us. We brought him home and got right to business breeding him to does here. Babies began arriving in mid June. Then for 2007, almost every doe will be bred to him.
